You can have a great product but it really doesn’t matter if no one knows about it. The team at LionsBot developed revolutionary professional cleaning robots that could sing and dance. They were looking for a PR partner to tell this story. The founders were pretty skeptical about PR.

THE OUTCOME

They were working towards a launch of their robots and were hoping for media coverage. We realised that their material was too technical in nature. We made sure to communicate the impact of LionsBot’s technology on people’s lives and how it would transform the industry.

IMPACT

In a week within the launch, the brand was featured internationally. We secured close to 60 stories across broadcast, print and online media. The coverage ranged from BBC, Nikkei to The Straits Times and Channel NewsAsia. The company started getting enquiries for their robots all over the world.

Smoking Cabin – Driving national conversations

THE MISSION

We were tasked with the mission to generate publicity for Singapore’s first smoking cabin. The challenge was dealing with potential controversies about the product as the general public may be concerned that it promotes smoking. The media in Singapore does have certain restrictions when it comes to publishing news as well.

THE OUTCOME

We focused on the messaging of the product being the first-of-its-kind. We made sure to communicate the problem that the product aimed to solved — countering second-hand smoke with a filtration system within the cabin. We secured close to 20 local and international journalists for the launch.

IMPACT

After the launch, there was much online chatter about the Smoking Cabin as it was covered extensively in the news. We secured close to 30 features across broadcast, print and online media locally and internationally. The coverage led to inquiries from various organisations about the Smoking Cabin.

Shopavision – Giving life to a new industy

THE MISSION

OC Group, a marketing agency was going to launch Shopavision, a live streaming platform where brands could better reach out to consumers directly. They needed to generate awareness on the rise of livestreaming and their role in the industry. As a new entry into the market surrounded by massive ecommerce giants, they needed to stand out and get their story heard.

THE OUTCOME

We conceptualised the idea of Singapore’s next top livestreaming competition as a way to onboard live streamers and get the public excited. We profiled the founder as a leader in the industry. We also worked with a research partner to make news on statistics of people’s perceptions towards livestream shopping. When the Singapore government released new e-commerce guidelines, we pitched the founder for interviews in response to the news.

We secured close to 40 features across media and influencer platforms over the course of the campaign.

GoalsMapper – Building expertise in the industry

THE MISSION

The company was introducing a solution to revolutionise the way financial advisers met with their clients through automated real-time charts on their clients’ financial situations. The platform needed to interest financial advisers by showing them that the tool could really help in impressing clients with a clear view of their financial situation.

THE OUTCOME

While there were many different features about the product, we focused on digital transformation for the insurance industry as a core angle. We took on the project at the start of the pandemic and pitched an angle on the rise in subscription numbers as financial advisers needed new ways of presenting information to clients online. We also shared the company’s goodwill in offering complimentary subscription fees during the pandemic.

IMPACT

We secured more than 10 features across prominent media over the course of the campaign. When asked about the impact of the campaign, the company shared that they felt more confident of the work and it was a recognition of the hard work put in by the team.
